1977 born Daniel Ehrenberg studied German language and literature with history and political science in Hamburg, Germany. After early experimentation with video at a local community TV channel he discovered his love for film when working as trainee director’s department on a film set in 1997. Since then Daniel’s passion for film has never stopped: Besides writing, producing and directing own short films, he worked in various positions in film production, attended film classes and workshops and read film theory as well as history of film at university. After completing his M.A. degree in 2009 he started working as an intern for Warner Bros. Pictures Germany and later continued to work for the major’s local production division as freelance script reader. Since July 2010 Daniel is working as Assistant Producer at Egoli Tossell Film AG, an independent film production company and financing entity specialized in premier international co-productions.
